    Join Student Leadership and Development and Volunteer Services on January 16, 2017, as we honor the legacy that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. left behind. We are partnering with several community organizations to address the roots of social problems, such as poverty, racism, and further injustices.

    This year’s featured keynote speaker is Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry. She is the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University. She is the Executive Director of the Pro Humanitate Institute and founding director of the Anna Julia Cooper Center. Melissa is also Editor-in-Large at ELLE.com.
